Our continual goal is to operate a successful building company based on quality construction and honest partnerships with our clients.

Quality
When we build & remodel, we follow the same high standards that we use with our own construction— absolutely no cutting corners to make more money. Period. We want to do the job right and have our work to last a long time. We give personal attention to detail to ensure that each project is a success. Our focus on quality assurance and craftsmanship enables us to warrant all of our work for two years.

Communication
We strive to make the building/remodeling process as stress-free as possible by having an open, honest relationship with each of our clients. We encourage and facilitate communication and on-site meetings with our clients to make sure we are meeting our client's expectations. Our excellent reputation comes from completing projects on time and within budget. J.J. is personally on site daily to make sure the entire building process runs smoothly.

The Owners
Brooke and J.J. Sumner live in Summerfield and are active members of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church. Brooke is originally from Girard, GA and graduated from the University of Georgia. J.J. is a lifelong resident of Summerfield and graduated from Appalachian State University. Married since 2000, they have twin daughters who are 5 years old. Activities include hiking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, camping, going to football games, and the girls’ favorite -climbing lighthouses on the Outer Banks. Taking the girls out into the world and experiencing life is very important to Brooke and J.J. This is the most rewarding part of being a parent, their most important job.

In 2004, they formed First Class Builders to offer a service that includes quality workmanship and personal attention to every job. This work ethic is applied to all jobs from small to extensive remodel, fire damage repair, commercial renovations and custom building. As business partners, J.J. manages the structural aspects of the building process, while Brooke focuses more on the design and aesthetics. Together they make a strong team that can overcome any obstacle!
